Steve has been on the Sandias Executive Search team for more than 20 years. Previously he spent 20 years in outside sales and management, recruiting and training some of the top salespeople in the wine distribution industry. Helping people succeed in life and in business has been Steve’s driving goal.Steve uses this zeal for quality of life as he helps others find new career challenges.

Steve has been married to his high school sweetheart, Sue, for more than 42 years; they have four grown children and eight grandchildren (six boys and two girls). They remind him to balance work and play. Steve and Sue love to camp in New Mexico.

He also has been Pastor to Crestview Community Church, serving the needs of Albuquerque’s inner-city neighborhoods. He and Sue have a strong passion for strengthening marriages.  Sue worked for a non-profit organization called Care Net Pregnancy Center.

Steve has won multiple international awards for performance in recruiting. He has worked with clients and candidates in 20 states and has an 85% repeat client base. He focuses mostly in the Northwest and Southwest commercial construction markets.
