Don has more than 25 years of experience as President of two staffing firms that have received international recognition.

Prior to opening an Executive Search firm in Minneapolis, Don was an executive with a Fortune 500 company. He is an accomplished information technology and engineering professional with nearly 20 years of experience in that field.

In 1995 Don's entrepreneurial spirit got the better of him and he founded a search firm in Chanhassen, MN. This highly successful company quickly established itself as a premier technical recruiting company in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. In its first year the company was awarded the prestigious 1996 National Rookie Office of the Year Award. In 1998 Don and his family fulfilled their dream to live in the Southwest, moving to Albuquerque and opening Sandias Executive Search.

Don's company philosophy is simple: Partner with client companies and candidates and do the right thing for both, always putting their best interests first.

Don personally specializes in placing Impact Players in senior level technology, C-Level and Board of Director positions, on a retained basis. He has been a speaker at national industry events on many recruitment, training and business topics. He is especially proud that he consistently has top-performing, long-term, dedicated people on his team.

Sandias Executive Search recently was honored as one of Albuquerque's top 10 Fastest Growing Companies for a record 9th year in a row.

Don grew up in St. Louis, MO and is a graduate of the University of Missouri. He has been on the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico and the Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico.  He is a big hockey fan, and he and his wife, Paula, also enjoy hiking, golfing, camping, listening to live jazz and attending theater performances.
